Coupá is a small town situated along the road to the top of the northern mountain area in Santa Catarina. It is famous for its numerous waterfalls, around 70, in the vicinity of the city. Many of these waterfalls are accessible via trails, and the possibility to have a shower in the falling water or to swim in one of the many natural pools attracts many tourists.
